• Leidy M. Morejon is an associate attorney at Sequor Law, where she focuses her practice on international litigation and investigations involving financial fraud, asset recovery, and insolvency. She also handles complex commercial litigation in U.S. courts involving individuals, multinational corporations, sovereign governments, fiduciaries, and other entities in domestic and international judgment collection actions, bankruptcy proceedings, and pre-judgment civil actions.
• Prior to joining Sequor Law, Leidy was an associate attorney at a boutique firm in Miami, where she handled complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts concerning breach of contract, business fraud, defaulted loans, fraudulent transfers, bankruptcy claims, corporate disputes, etc. She previously worked at an Am Law 200 insurance defense firm where she litigated in the areas of consumer rights, directors and officer’s liability, personal injury arising from catastrophic loss accidents, and wrongful death, among others. Leidy’s career began at the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development in Atlanta, Georgia.
• Leidy attended the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, and developed her love for litigation as a member of the International Moot Court team, the Tenants’ Rights Clinic, and the Litigation Skills Program. During her time in law school, in addition to two internships at multinational corporations, Leidy was also a judicial intern to Justice Jorge Labarga at the Supreme Court of Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at Florida International University, cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in International Relations.
