
Francis E. Curiel
Associate
Francis Curiel focuses her practice on asset recovery and financial fraud. She represents individuals, governments, and other entities in domestic and international judgment collection matters; cross-border insolvency proceedings under Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code; actions to collect evidence for use in foreign proceedings under 28 U.S.C. § 1782; and other commercial disputes.
Francis served as a law clerk at Sequor Law before joining the team as an associate.
Francis graduated magna cum laude in 2021 from Florida International University College of Law, J.D. She was on the Dean’s List, was a Merit Scholarship Recipient, and was a member of the Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocates. Francis was also an intern to the Hon. Rudolph Contreras, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. In 2017, she obtained her B.A. in English with a minor in Linguistics from Duke University, where she was also on the Dean’s List.
Francis is fluent in English and Spanish. She is admitted to practice in Florida.
