Bruno de Camargo
Bruno de Camargo, an attorney at Sequor Law, focuses his practice on financial fraud and asset recovery. He represents individuals, governments and other entities in domestic and international judgment collection matters; cross-border insolvency proceedings under Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code; actions to collect evidence for use in foreign proceedings under 28 U.S.C. § 1782; and other commercial disputes.
Prior to joining Sequor Law, Bruno worked at a nationwide firm specializing in complex commercial and insurance litigation, where he represented entities and individuals in multimillion-dollar litigation, and has also handled a broad range of contract disputes, including litigation against government entities, real estate partnership agreements, and high-end commercial retail disputes. Before going into law, Bruno worked at a multi-national investment firm specializing in Brazil and Brazilian clients.
Born in Brazil, Bruno is a native Portuguese speaker who also speaks Spanish. He brings a unique skill set that allows him to effectively assist foreign clients in multijurisdictional matters.
Bruno is admitted to all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. He also is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
