Alejandro Rodriguez Vanzetti is an attorney at Sequor Law, where he focuses his practice on asset recovery, international judgment enforcement, international arbitration and litigation, and financial fraud.
Alejandro frequently represents individuals and companies in proceedings under 28 U.S.C. § 1782 and Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code, obtaining discovery from financial institutions and third parties in support of high-stakes foreign litigation and securing recognition and relief in aid of foreign insolvency proceedings. His work in these areas intersects with asset tracing and enforcement of foreign judgments in U.S. courts.
Alejandro currently serves on the Board of Directors of the South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Before joining Sequor Law, Alejandro served as a Judicial Law Clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In this role, he assisted in all aspects of civil and criminal cases, including drafting substantive orders and reports and recommendations and supporting courtroom proceedings.
During law school, Alejandro interned for U.S. District Judge Jose E. Martinez, drafting orders on a range of federal issues. Alejandro also gained valuable experience as a law clerk at Sequor Law. Prior to law school, he worked at a large international law firm in Miami, where he played a key role in large-scale litigation and government enforcement defense matters as well as developing the firm’s Litigation Assistant Program across its 14 global offices.
Alejandro earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class. He served as Executive Submissions and Comments Editor of the FIU Law Review.
